As we have started the new academic year, I want to take the opportunity to thank all those involved in Pre-registration Trainee Pharmacy Technician (PTPT) education for supporting trainees with any operational changes for the new education provider models.

I am delighted to say that following scoping we have had a request for an increase in PTPT commissions across the region. Please note that we cannot confirm these yet but this will support workforce transformation projects and Hospital Transformation Plans for the future.

I am very much looking forward to meeting PTPT education leads at our first London & South East network meeting on 23rd November 2016. A real opportunity to get together to share innovative ideas and discuss processes to support recruitment and the PTPT educational journey. Please make sure your organisation is represented at this meeting.
